The idyllically located mountain tourist resort of Luttach lies at 971m and offers a good selection of shops as well as nice rest points. Prags is a picturesque village in the heart of the Dolomites and is renowned for its stunning alpine scenery. The area provides easy access to the 3 Zinnen Dolomites ski region, one of South Tyrol's most popular winter sports destinations. The famous Lake Prags (Pragser Wildsee), one of the most photographed natural attractions in the Alps, is located just a few minutes away. The region combines excellent skiing opportunities with authentic South Tyrolean hospitality and breathtaking mountain landscapes.
Terenten is located on a high plateau above the Puster Valley and the "Strada del Sole" and consists of the fractions Talson, Holderloch, Margen, Hohenbichl, Sonnberg, Pichlern, Schneeberg, Pein, Lehen and Ast. Besides a short practice lift in the village centre there are three small supermarkets, a bank, hotels with bars and a cafe. Thanks to its location the village offers unbelievably spectacular panoramic views of the Dolomites to the southeast and the mighty Sarntaler Alps to the west. The superb Kronplatz and Gitschberg-Jochtal ski areas are just 20 minutes away.
Uttenheim, is part of the resort of Gais, which is a relaxed, picturesque village located just 8km from Bruneck and the skiing at Kronplatz. Uttenheim has several cafés, bars and restaurants with more extensive facilities available in Gais (2km) and, of course, the bustling busy resort of Bruneck.
